Dear Deeper Shades family,

I am very proud to announce the birth of my son Mattias Alexander Behrenroth. On Friday, April 10th at 7.56am my beautiful wife Kathy gave birth to our perfect little boy weighing 8lbs. 4oz. and 53cm tall.

We are extremly happy and proud and consider this the happiest day of our lives. I am sure you'll hear some of his cries on future Deeper Shades of House shows :)

The picture shows him about one hour old after he got cleaned up, weighed and everything else. Look at his hair. What a stylish little man.

This is straight up for the old school heads.
UK DJ Nicky Dungeons compiled a best of mix and video featuring many Acid House classics from 1988 / 1989. Some of the tracks were hits in clubs all over the world, others were pretty particular for the UK scene.
Even though I was never lucky enough to check out any of the UK raves back then, I remember the clothes, the dances & the songs from a few parties I got to check out in Germany. I tried to play some Acid House in my hometown back then but that didn't stick. Cuxhaven is just way too small to be cool :)

Wow. This just left me speechless and my mouth wide open in awe.
Carl Craig worked with pianist Francesco Tristano to arrange his compositions for a classical orchestra. The result is stunning and 1h 7min and 45sec long.
